Scottish Legends Charity Rugby Match
In Aid of Teenage Cancer Trust
A charity match, featuring some of the Scottish Rugby legends, will be played on Sunday 24th August.
The match is in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust and is a group of guys playing against some of Scotland's Legends such as Gregor Townsend, Scott Hastings and Craig Chalmers. The team will be managed by Rowen Shepherd.
The match is against the TCT teens, who is managed by 18 year old Kyle McPherson, who was diagnosed with cancer when he was 15 and underwent chemotherapy for six months at the Western General Hospital.
The match kicks off at 2pm in the Royal High School in Barnton's school grounds but the venue is open from 1pm till 5pm as there is so much to do.
Entry is £1, a bargain to see some amazing legends take on the up and coming stars of some of today's rugby.
A few of the Edinburgh Accies boys are playing this game as well and, more importantly, it is for charity. A chance to see a few Scottish legends play locally for only £1.
It is a fun day out for the whole family - food, entertainment, pipe band and a fantastic rugby game to watch.
